All these symptoms and others like them are created because your mind is sending a 'fear' signal to your body.

Why your mind does this is usually owing to an unpleasant experience from the past (sometimes right back to younger days even), and somewhere inside you remember how it felt before and expect it to feel that way again - so you feel afraid and act accordingly.

This may be obvious when you remember how it all started - but very often the cause can be much more subtle or apparently non-existent.

Either way, hypnosis and hypnotherapy can help you get over this by accessing the part of your mind that is triggering the fear and helping you change how it responds.

The treatment I use to do this is a special form of hypnosis that helps you remove the fears, rather than simply trying to force positive ideas into your mind by suggestion/visualisation.

When you do this, public speaking, presentations and any kind of performance become a very natural way of being for you, because you no longer see it as a threat.

The number of sessions this takes does vary from person to person, but what I normally say is allow for 2 - 4 sessions, but it might be a few more, or indeed much less.

Sessions are available daytime and evening and usually last about an hour. Current fees are detailed here.
